5754 Aluminum Sheet
The 5754 aluminum sheet has a high strength that can be increased through cold working. The most common temper types of 5754 aluminum sheets are H111, H22, H24, and H26. This alloy has great corrosion resistance and machinability, making it an excellent choice for marine applications. The 5754 aluminum chemical composition contains primarily magnesium, some silicon, iron, and manganese.
Properties of 5754, depending on temper
Yield Strength | 60-190 MPa |
Tensile Strength | 160-305 MPa |
Brinell Hardness | 44-78 |
Proof Stress | 130 MPa |
We offer all sizes of the 5754 aluminum sheet according to the ASTM B209 / ASME SB209 specifications.
5754 Aluminum Sheet Fabrication
Since KDM is a professional metal products factory in China, we have experience and expertise in working with 5754 aluminum sheets. Moreover, we can work with all tempers on 5754 aluminum sheet metal to fabricate your ideal parts. Every temper has its special properties and needs to be fabricated differently. Luckily, our engineers and equipment are always up to the challenge.

It is commonly used in engineering, automotive, and marine applications. For example, pressure vessels, boat hulls, and van bodies.
The 5754 aluminum sheet is slightly stronger but less ductile, than the 5052 aluminum sheet.
The alloy 5754 is very similar to 2 other alloys: 5154 and 5454.
Aluminum sheets can be custom sized. Common sizes include 1ft x 1ft, 1ft x 2ft, 1ft x 4ft, 2ft x 2ft, 2ft x 4ft, 4ft x 4ft, 4ft x 8ft, and 4ft x 10ft.
Aluminum 5754 bending is fairly easy, as it is in the 5xxx series, known for great bendability. The 5754-0 temper would be the most bendable. Welding 5754 aluminum also works well, especially using high current and low arc voltage.
