Aluminum Foil Labels
Maintenance and service labels, asset labels, calibration labels, and numerous more label applications all benefit greatly from the use of aluminum foil labels. Due to its outstanding abrasion resistance and resistance to corrosion, aluminum foil labels can be used both indoors and outdoors without any issues. They are the perfect alternative for nameplates without the expensive cost.
The impression left by writing on our aluminum foil labels lasts for years even after the ink fades, making it ideal for records you want to maintain. We can fabricate a batch of 50+ write-on aluminum foil labels. The thin foil labels are versatile, and KDM is always ready to customize your labels.

Benefits of Aluminum Foil Labels

Your aluminum foil label will have a decal-like flushness to the surface while maintaining the durability and polished appearance.

Your aluminum foil label will be thin enough to curve around a tool, a pole, a cylinder, or another irregular surface.

Aluminum is very resistant to corrosion, chemicals, abrasion, UV exposure, cold temperatures, solvents, and more.

Serial numbers, barcodes, UIDs, and other changeable data can all be included on your aluminum foil label.
Embossable Foil Labels
Serial numbers, calibration information, and maintenance records are frequently kept on embossable aluminum foil labels. The benefit in this case is that after you write on them, a permanent impression will be left on the labels, allowing you to still read the markings even after the ink has faded. Moreover, these labels are easy to customize on your own if you get aluminum foil label blanks.

Aluminum Foil Label Specifications
Aluminum foil refers to aluminum that has been manufactured in thin metal leaves that are less than 0.2mm (7.9 mils) thick. It is made of tough, thin-gauge aluminum that can withstand a variety of demanding label application requirements. We also use 3M adhesive—an outstanding adhesive for many surfaces. The size, dimensions, and colour can be customized according to your requirements. You can further specify finish and whether you want the foil labels to be anodized.

Select Aluminum Foil Label Features
You can select the size, shape, finish, colour, font, and anything else that you need. You can also choose the numbering layout: barcode, numbering, text only, or combination. Simply contact us and we will help you specify all the necessary parameters for your aluminum foil labels.
Manufacturing Process
We will prepare a sheet of aluminum of the right thickness and cut it to size using stamping or laser cutting. Next, we may add the adhesive—if you chose it—add your surface treatments, colour, and finish.
Foil Label Printing
Aluminum foil labels can be printed on using digital laser printing, and screen-printing—or inkjet. Digital printing applies high-color, high-definition prints to these metal foil tags using a computer-guided printer. A flatbed printer is used in the procedure, which has the capacity to print several labels at once, drastically reducing production time and expenses. Screen-printing is also great for foil labels and it is used more often in the industry. After printing, we sometimes laminate, seal, or coat the labels with polymer, resin, or a thin anodic layer.
