Brass Bar

Due to its likeness to gold, brass is frequently employed as an ornamental metal. Architecture, condenser/heat exchangers, plumbing, radiator cores, musical instruments, locks, fasteners, hinges, ammunition components, and electrical connectors are a few further uses. Brass flat bar is a common option for usage in marine conditions since it is highly machinable and corrosion-resistant.

Different combinations of copper and zinc in brass bars result in a wide range of characteristics and colour variations. The strength and ductility of the material are increased by adding more zinc. Depending on how much zinc is added to the alloy, brass can have a colour that ranges from red to yellow.

We manufacture brass bars in a range of sizes, and in a number of forms and grades. We also offer 360 and 385 grade rectangular brass bars.

Properties of Brass Bars

Of all the copper-based alloys, brass is the most popular and least expensive. When formed by pressing, deep drawing, rolling, and machining, it has an outstanding forming characteristic and a reasonably high strength as well as unusually strong ductility in specific compositions. Brass bars have excellent brazing, machining, bending, and corrosion resistance properties, along with fairly good durability.
